We recently hosted an AMA with Alien Worlds, on February 11th at 11.00 AM UTC. Many of you might have participated or many of not. But we make sure no one missed out from the knowledge shared by Rob Allen, Founder at Alien Worlds so here we are up with the AMA transcript, for those who missed the live session, this blog post will be a saver & feeder of knowledge for them.

Q1. Could you please introduce Alien Worlds to our community in layman’s term?
Ans — Sure, One way to view Alien Worlds is that it is a simulation of a new future where humans have had to leave earth (pandemics, climate change etc..) and set up on Alien worlds.
In this new reality we have competing planets and everything its tokenised, in NFT form, So effectively everything is a provably unique digital item
This includes the tools people use to the minions their add to their crew to the land they mine.
The first thing people are mine for the provable rare Trilium which forms the basis of the economy.
There are also these decentralised aspects where each planet runs as a DAO and all landowners have the opportunity to set things up.
DAO is a decentralised organisation which we don’t have control of — effectively each planet has it’s own government and budget
And each planet has to compete for miners, stakers etc.. and be creative in what rewards they give.
Q2. What are the advantages of Alien Worlds to other alternatives in the Blockchain field?
Ans — The very unique thing about Alien Worlds is how easy iit is to start. You just need a wax account which takes less than a minute to sign up for as wallet.wax.io and then go to play.alienworlds.io
We will give you a free avatar and shovel and you can get going with no costs or fees to pay.
We already have an active ecosystem with the initial functionality but in future we will have considerablly more functionality on line and it will give people a lot of opportunities to build on top.
Q3. What are the major milestones Alien Worlds achieved so far & what are in the future pipeline?
Ans —Actually getting an MVP launched and having 8000 Daily active users is probably our biggest achievement thuis far. But we have helkd 4 sold out NFT sales and completed a very advanced technical blueprint including all the design mechanics for future core developments.

Questions Asked on Twitter For Alien Worlds Team!
Q1. How did Alien Worlds manage to take the third place in the ranking of games on DappRadar? What do you think attracts new players to Alien Worlds? Do you have a strategy for keeping new players on your gaming platform?
Ans — As we now see we are sitting in 1st at the moment — A lot is down to the easy onboarding and feeless actions. Another huge part is that we have been focused on community and empowering our communities from the outset — that has created a positive viral swirl which has not met much friction yet
As more people play the rewards pools do get less per player but we have also included a way for people/communities to be incentived to drop extra rewards which continues to grow the richness of the ecosystem.
Q2. I read more info about the Alien world, and one of the recently I read is the “Thunderdome battle” Can you tell us more about this Thunderdome Battle.
Ans — The Thunderdome is the first core battling game which will be released on Alien Worlds. Many of the NFTs on Alien Worlds are Minions and Weapons — players will be able to send in minions to battle in a battle royale style format with winners getting rewards.

Q3. to do mining in ALIEN WORLDS we have to have trilium and NFT, how do we get it, and can you explain why the supply of trilium will decrease with increasing years from 2021–2050 from 1,250,000 trilium to 78,000 trilium, and how do we get rewarded games that we play?
Ans — So, the major incentives pool is effectively a long term release pool which uses a smooth bitcoin style half life for rewards. This means that early players do get a bit more rewards but later players still have a chance to catch up through being more active. Rather like Bitcoin rewards continue to decrease through halving events — Trilium rewards decrease by a tiny amount per day.
So that amount is not the total supply but the daily rewards amount.
Planets get a daily allocation and landowners do — they decide where to spend it to reward players
As a default the mining game gets 80% of the planets rewards but this may change in the future as more games come on line.
Q4. All of the Alien Worlds digital assets are minted on the WAX Blockchain.Can you tell us the win-win benefits of Alien Worlds and Wax Blockchain? Why did you choose to collaborate Wax Blockchain with your digital assets?How can we access Wax Blockchain?
Ans —I’ll reverse the order of questions — How can we access Wax Blockchain? — just get a wax wallet at wallet.wax.io
Why did you choose to collaborate Wax Blockchain with your digital assets?
Mainly because it is very easy and cost effective to set up and interact with huge numbers of NFTs on WAX and generally feeless for the Users. We couldn’t do this with ERC721
Can you tell us the win-win benefits of Alien Worlds and Wax Blockchain?
They provide an easy onboarding structure and a reliable secure chain, we provide an application that takes advantage of the power inherent in the chain architecture, However, we are not just WAX, the main token is actually dual ETH and WAX and we do plan to operate on several chains in the future.
Q5. I notice there aren’t any currently legendary lands. Do you plan to offer legendary lands in the next land packs? When will you be offering more land packs since the others sold out so quickly?
Ans — There are in fact 19 legendary lands in total including 3 that are still sitting in Land packs. There are a total of 3343 lands in Alien Worlds spread across the 6 planets. We will not be adding planetary lands except when there is a compelling reason to do so that will benefit the whole ecosystem.
I think a slight confusiion may be that there are no mythical lands
If indeed we do ever add to lands I am sure there will be a lot of thought and suprises but nothing around that is planned.

Q1. Mobile devices are becoming very powerful. Can I mine NFT in Alien World from a mobile browser? Are you planning to release an android and IOS mobile application?
Ans — In the designs we really wanted to be mobile first but this proved somewhat difficult. Officially we only support desktop and chrome but in reallity a huge number of people are using mobie phones. Android experience is much better than IOS at this time. In the future we are having a UI redesign that will prioritise mobile users.
Q2. What opportunities does the TLM token holder get in the Alien Worlds metaverse? How can a TLM token holder improve their financial health and the overall health of the Alien Worlds metaverse?
Ans — TLM has a huge amount of utilty in the alien worlds ecosystem. The main uses at this time are staking and shining (upgrading) items. In the future it will be used to upgrade land, repair health of minions and weapons, pay for farming services and other marketplace based services. I reckon there wil be significant demand.
Q3. How Do you planning to promote your project in different countries, wherein English is not spoken well? Do you have a local communities for them to better understand your project?
Ans —We have a number of active communities where english is not the first language — In fact Russia and Turkey are 2 of our biggest areas and we have active telegram and discord groups running in a variety of languages.
Q4. What is the structure of this project , is it decentralised or a open sourced protocol where everybody can contribute? If so, how does the governance plan on being handled??
Ans — It is slighly complex as there is an overall core power (the federation) but there are also extremely automous planets, landowners and factions that all have powers over parts of the metaverse. Q5. Tell us a little bit about security? Have you done an audit of the platform? Are the smart contracts error-free? What are the test results?
Ans — Yes, we have been undergoing some external audits of some of the core contracts and we will be publiicising these in the next couple of weeks.
Q6. So, do you have any plan for burning tokens in the future to reduce the supply of the token and increase its investment attractiveness?
Ans — There are a large number of burning mechanisms built into the tokenomic model. In general, when people complete activities which require TLM (e.g upgrading items and land, going on quests, healing minions, paying for services) , then a proprtion of the TLM is burnt. This is aimed to counteract inflation and create interesting economic dynamics.
Q7. What innovations does AlienWords offer in DeFi and how Do AlienWords changing the new DeFi ecosystem and what are the plans for the next few years?
Ans — I think a major innovation is a platform with competative Defi mechanisms. All planets (and landowners, and potentially some other structures) have their own automony over defi rewards. They gain by making their rewards more attractive to stakers and players on their planets gameified activities. The model is structured to reward the best models so potentially there is an advanced evolutionary aspects to spur defi innovations at many places within the ecosystem.
