We recently hosted an AMA with Antara-The Game on February 12th at 12.30 PM UTC. Many of you might have participated, or many of you might not. But we ensure no one misses out on the knowledge shared by Dominic Ryder, Co-Founder at Antara. So here we are up with the AMA transcript; for those who missed the live session, this blog post will be a saver & feeder of knowledge for them.

Q1. Could you please introduce Antara to our community in layman’s terms?
Ans — Antara Raiders & Royals & The Antara Token ($ANTT) is the official token of The Antara Universe 🏜️⚔️
The Raiders & Royals game exists as part of the wider Antara Universe, a trans media ecosystem that includes the Arabian Camels NFT series, the $45m budget “Antara” feature film, a porche racing team and the official “Raiders & Royals” game.
All of the above fall under the same IP which is owned by the founding team.
As a joint venture between VEMP Studios (listed on KuCoin, Huobi, Gate & MEXC) and Arabian Camels, the game will benefit from two passionate communities and teams with intimate experience and a proven track record within the NFT, gaming & Metaverse niches.
The game enables players to grow their tribes, loot resources and battle other gamers all while minting, trading and earning NFTs and other crypto assets all within the virtual Arabian Peninsula.
The Antara Movie
Beyond the game, Antara expands its universe into the realm of cinema with an upcoming feature film with a budget of $45m. The Antara movie will bring our richly detailed world and compelling characters to life on the big screen, offering another thrilling way to experience the Antara universe. Directed by a renowned British director and featuring a cast of Oscar-nominated actors, Antara is currently in pre-production with filming scheduled to begin later this year.
Q2. What are the advantages of Antara to the other alternatives in the Blockchain field?

I would say the main differentiator is both me and my cofounders track records in this industry. My cofounder Alex sold out his NFT collection in May 2021, around same time as bored apes and pudgy penguins so a real first mover!
I launched $VEMP the games studio behind Antara in August 2021 and we got to $650M FDV at our peak and are still in the 10s of millions now 🤝🏽

Q3. What are the major milestones Antara achieved so far & what are in the future pipeline?
Ans — Beyond the game, Antara expands its into the cinema with the upcoming feature film beginning filming next quarter. Directed by a renowned British director and featuring a cast of Oscar nominated actors.
Antara Raiders & Royals has already generated significant traction from the crypto and gaming communities, with over 10,000 combined NFT & token holders eagerly anticipating the launch of the game scheduled for end of this quarter!.
Current development is in alpha, although one in-game NFT collection has already amassed over 3k unique owners and over 1k volume in ETH (~$1.9M at current prices).

Q1. Can players enjoy the benefits of the game without owning digital assets, and how does the possession of these assets enhance the overall gaming experience?
Ans — Good question. There’s no barrier to entry in terms of playing. Anyone can sign up and play without spending. Like many similar games, spending of course will definitely be useful when it comes to reducing time spent building your base for example or training troops but it’s not essential to play.
With regard to owning specific digital assets, some will be more useful than others of course and with that comes an extra edge or advantage in battle making the experience easier for them overall. It doesn’t prevent anyone from overcoming them though.
Someone could still be better prepared without the use or need for owning anything specifically in the game. The chance is there for a fair shot for all if they simply invest time into the game.
Q2. Can you elaborate on the concept of Tribes in Antara and how they contribute to the gameplay progression and rarity of assets? What opportunities do players have to invest in and benefit from Digital Land within the Antara metaverse?
Ans — Tribes are essentially villages where players construct and upgrade various building structures. Every player receives free tribes to begin their journey in the game.
The core gameplay involves building and upgrading economy buildings within these tribes to generate resources and foster tribal development. Additionally, players can fortify their tribes by constructing defense buildings to protect against potential enemy attacks. Notably, the unique feature of Antara is that players do not need to be online to defend their tribes, adding an element of strategic planning and autonomy to the gameplay.
This dynamic concept of Tribes not only contributes to the progression of gameplay but also influences the rarity of in-game assets as players strategically enhance and defend their tribal villages.
Q3. How do Arabian camel NFTs enhance the gameplay experience, and what specific roles do they play in conjunction with purchased chiefs during battles? Can the camel NFTs be upgraded or leveled up in-game?
Ans — The Camels are matched up with a respective rider. Every village will have a chief and every chief will have a camel. With respect to the important aspects of combat such as health, damage, attack speed etc, owning a camel will give you a significant boost and allow you to earn more than if you just had a chief or neither.
The best benefits will go to those that have the chief and the camel. The rarity of the camels will also contribute to the benefits players receive, so the more traits a camel possesses, the more benefits the player can utilise.
Q4. Currently there are many BlockChain-based Game Projects. but there are also many gamers who don’t understand the world of Crypto & Blockchain. How do you introduce Antara (blockchain based) games to non-crypto gamers? Are you going to educate them about Cryptocurency?
Ans — The game itself is modelled very similarly to Clash of Clans which needs no introduction. From that starting point alone, Raiders and Royals won’t need much in the way of an introduction. It of course incorporates crypto elements such as the NFTs and the ability to earn but players will still be able to engage with the game without any specific knowledge on crypto.
The film that the game is based on will have 10s of millions of people that aren’t aware of what crypto is so there’s a case to be made that a lot of the players coming onboard initially won’t have any idea about crypto so we’ve kept that in mind with the design process.
Of course those that do wish to go that extra step and learn a bit more, we have community channels set up to engage with them and answer any questions they may have.
Q5. Many games don’t support mobiles, and that reduces the attraction of many players around the world. Can I play AntaraTheGame on mobile and on PC? Is there a version for Android and iOS, what does my PC need to be able to play it?
Ans — The game will be available on mobile from September but the alpha at the end of this month is on desktop/PC. It will also be on Android, IOS, & WebGL.
You won’t need a high speed gaming PC or anything of the sort to play it. It’s built on top of Unity so any normal PC or laptop will be fine 🫡

Q1. I am Eagerly Waiting for your IDO But I Got to know That it is POSTPONED, So May I know What is Reason for this Postponing and Have You Decided the New Date for the IDO , If Yes Please Tell ?
Ans — So our TGE was initially 15th and we pushed it back by one week just to facilitate additional marketing and spreading the word via more launchpads! So our raises begin from tomorrow with BullPerks/ GamesPad and then we have more throughout the week then launching token on 22nd!
Q2. How is Antara TheGame approaching Gaming Guilds or scholarship programs? Do you see it as a way to onboard and retain more users?
Ans — Yeah we have designed our lands around guilds where the more $ANTT guilds or land owners stake into their lands the more boosts and faster production they get.
This gives them a constant accumulation incentive and a great way to attract the best scholars/players!
Q3. Since $ANTT will go live on Feb 22nd, will it be listed on different CEX or DEX?
Ans — So DEX at first. In my experience having listed tokens on KuCoin, Bybit & more, it is only worth launching on CEXs of that level or higher and therefore we won’t be listing on smaller ones like MEXC or Gate as they tend to negatively effect the price rather than benefit it
Q4. How many NFTS are THEIR in the ANTARA game and what is this game battle token ?
Ans — So there are a few main types of NFT for the game specifically which is the Arabian camels collection which is out now here
