We recently hosted an AMA with CDzExchange, on July 23rd at 1.30 PM UTC. Many of you might have participated or many of not. But we make sure no one missed out from the knowledge shared by DJ Choppa, Head Of Community & MC Liquid, Marketing at CDzExchange. So here we are up with the AMA transcript, for those who missed the live session, this blog post will be a saver & feeder of knowledge for them.

Q1. Could you please introduce CDzExchange to our community in layman’s term?
Ans — CDzExchange is the Most Liquid DEX for Crypto Derivatives (CDs).
We are solving the trilemma of slow transactions, high fees and poor user experience in current decentralized derivatives exchanges. Users can trade leveraged perpetual contracts, stablecoins and assets like BEP20, ERC20s and other major assets. CDzExchange aims to support cross-chain technology with top chains, all without compromising on speed or security. The platform also provides staking and liquidity mining to unlock new opportunities enabled by cross-chain DeFi.
Q2. What are the advantages of CDzExchange to other alternatives in the Blockchain field?
Ans — The DeFi market has countless DEXs running on different blockchains.
CDzExchange’s DEX is unique in that for one, it is leveraging limitless cross-chain liquidity to create more exposure in trading assets and transacting capital from one platform.
This means traders can trade crypto derivatives without the technical constraint of being limited to a single blockchain for accessing capital, assets and derivatives contracts.
Q3. What are the major milestones CDzExchange achieved so far & what are in the future pipeline?
Ans — The future is bright! Our first beta product is launching in August 2021 where users can swap, stake and farm BEP20 tokens.
We will also integrate Ethereum as the first cross-chain network. The rest of Q3 will be expanding our core DEX layer with more trading pairs, liquidity pools and supported wallets.
For Q4 we will launch the decentralized perpetual contracts trading feature along with margin trading.
This will be a big product launch as we expand our CDs trading offering. And don’t forget, we’ll also be integrating more cross-chain platforms such as HECO and Polygon.

Q1. The Futures market is packed with several competitors like Binance Bitmex, OKEx, FTX, Bybit, HuobiDM. So how does CDzExchange plan to stay competitive with so many new products and players in the market? And How do you prevent market manipulations by whales?
Ans — One major competitive advantage we have over all of the other players in the market is that we aim to provide the first non custodial, cross-chain, decentralised derivatives exchange on the market.
This means we can offer lower fees, have larger spreads, and access to larger pools of liquidity.
Unfortunately there’s not a whole lot that can be done about Whale manipulation - safeguards such as limiting trading amounts on leveraged perps and other products is a deterrent to whales, but ultimately what people do with their money on a decentralised exchange is up to them. That’s the beauty of decentralisation! True free markets.
Q2. Can you tell us about your team members? Are they qualified and professional in their fields? What are the recruiting qualifications for team members for your extraordinary project? Is your project listed on coingecko and coinmarketcap or not?
Ans — Recruitment is an interesting one. We use top notch crypto recruitment agencies and have a very stringent vetting process.
Before each team member is onboarded they have meetings with everyone in the team individually and as a team in order to make sure they are the right fit. They obviously have to be passionate, curious and crypto obsessed!
Regarding listing, the CDZ TGE has not happened yet, so we aren’t listed anywhere at the moment. Keep an eye on our socials for updates and announcements about our IDO, which is coming very soon.
Q3. I can see impressive UI/UX in your website and it seems like is one of your top priorities, since it is really well done, I could note all team members have cool profile pictures, so I’m curious to know if you have plans for an NFT Marketplace in the future? Are they a part of it?
Ans — Very possibly. This is an obvious play.

Q4. You recently announced your partnership/collaboration with DAOventures. Can you tell us how this is going to be beneficial for both community members?
Ans — DVG now DVD. Are fantastic partners DAOventures will invest in the initial liquidity for the AMM at CDzExchange’s DEX and liquidity pool.
Liquidity providers (LPs) will be able to provide liquidity for the DVG-BNB pair and earn LP rewards generated from accrued trading fees.
To top it up....
CDzExchange will also launch a $DVG staking pool where users can stake $DVG to earn rewards in the form of $CDZ — sweet and simple.
Q5. I am struck by the fact that CDzExhange as its name has as its theme several "CDs or discs" which I find interesting, but what is the origin of this? Why do I choose this name and this theme? In the future, do you intend to interoperate NFTs with references to these CDs?
Ans — As mentioned before, an NFT play is possible. We are working through some ideas around this space at the moment.
As for the branding and style, CD’s stands for Crypto Derivatives! Part of our marketing and branding is to simplify the idea of crypto derivatives for people.
One of the easiest ways we thought we could do that was to use CDz as an easy launchpad, whilst also using it as our branding! Simplifying the concept and the branding into easily digestible ideas that people already have an attachment to.

Q1. Do we need to do KYC to provide liquidity, trade with CDz Exchange? How will you ensure the safety of users? Is CDz Exchange safe?
Ans — It’s a decentralised Exchange - No KYC will be needed to trade.
Q2. Dexs have been seem to have the worst liquidity, how is CDz gonna secure better liquidity for a better user experience and trust?
Ans — We are securing large amounts of liquidity by enabling Cross-Chain transactions within the DEX. This also lowers barriers to entry and makes us Blockchain Agnostic!
Q3. Where do you see CDZ exchange in the future?
Ans — Taking over the world! JK. Just a big slice of it. Seriously, CDz is only the beginning. We are super excited about DJsofDeFi.com Did someone say NFT?
Q4. Recently we see many projects rug pulled and exit scam. Why should investors trust your project not to do the same?
Ans — We have incredibly high quality VC investors and private investors. It is in our best interests to make sure that the exchange is as secure and safe as possible for as many people to use as is possible.
Q5. Is this your project only for elite investors, how about others with small budget is it open to everyone?
Ans — It will be open to everyone! That’s the beauty of a DEX! anyone can use it as long as they have a WEB3 wallet.
Q6. Do you guys feel satisfied by seeing your progresses and achievements till now, when you look back to the day when you have started this project?
Ans — Absolutely. We have just launched our pre IDO launchpool. We have over 600k TVL locked in there at the moment, and it is rising every day. Considering the state of the market at the moment, we are really proud of our achievements. Especially given we have no even had our IDO yet, i think having over 600k TVL in our launchpools is an excellent sign of confidence, and a great achievement of ours. More great things to come!

Ans — Not gonna lie. Crosschain is hard. But it’s the future. Everything, imo, will be crosschain in the future. Not one platform to rule them all but an entire ecosystem. Re: CAKE, DOGE, etc. We want to attract the biggest communities bc ya know we’re the shit!! Go big!! Have you seen the TVL on the launchpool?! app.cdz.exchange.

Q10. Is Dj Choppa your real name? Are you a DJ in real life?
Ans — It is not my real name and i am not a DJ in real life. But i fucking love music! that’s for sure.
Q11. Do you guys feel satisfied by seeing your progresses and achievements till now, when you look back to the day when you have started this project?
Ans — No way. Hard work gets results. But you have to keep grinding if you want to really make a difference. This is the beginning. IDO is around the corner. The beginning of the beginning.
Q12. Do you have any plans to add NFT’s to your ecosystem as this is the hottest topic in crypto space?
Ans — Yup. We drawing battle plans as we speak. This will happen. Please stay tuned. CDz only the beginning.
Q13. Could you give me 3 best features to convince me and other investors invest in your project in long-term?
Ans — I’ve got one killer feature for you. Imagination. We stared with CDzExchange and we are now spinning out DJs Of DeFi into a new project?! How you like them apples?! Announcements coming soon.
Q14. Do you think Partnerships are really an important factor? Are there any other projects that will make it easier for you to reach your future goals and contribute to your Ecosystem?
Ans — Partnerships are key. No doubt but execution is the only thing that will keep the price climbing. We have back loaded announcements of partnerships because we want to execute first. Build credibility.
Q15. Can you tell me in detail about the current problem of decentralized exchanges regarding the trilemma they mention? Also, how does CDzExchange solve this problem that includes speed, cost and experience? These would be the fundamental factors that characterize a good exchange, right?
Ans — This is a rabbit hole of a question. But to be brief, crypto UX in general is a mess. We bear it because we’re all in it for the long haul. But if you want big adoption it has to.... has to... be seamless. That will take time but it’s the thing that will rocket us all to the moooooon. Am I overusing that expression?!! Probably. But it sounds good!
Q16. Where can I buy your tokens now, what are your current contracts and how can I buy them and what are the benefits?
Ans — Have to wait for IDO. On launch, we’ll have simple staking contracts. Build from there. MVP, then V2, V3, etc. etc. Benefits?!! You’re a degen right?! You tell me!

Ans — If DEX’s don’t solve this then what’s the point right?!! AMMs are crucial to this puzzle. But so are staking incentives. It’s a moving target because everyone going after the same pie!! But where we’ll excel is UX/UI. Without that you won’t get volume. But, again moving target. Notice how everyone looking the same?! Be orignal, be better!!!
