We recently hosted an AMA with CryptoBlades, on June 14th at 2 PM UTC. Many of you might have participated or many of not. But we make sure no one missed out from the knowledge shared by Philip Devine, Founder of CryptoBlades. So here we are up with the AMA transcript, for those who missed the live session, this blog post will be a saver & feeder of knowledge for them.

Q1. Could you please introduce CryptoBlades to our community in layman’s term?

Ans — In CryptoBlades, players create characters and weapons using SKILL tokens and can fight enemies to earn SKILL tokens. We have raids, a marketplace, and an active community of dedicated gamers who are all Playing to Earn already even just 2 weeks in since launch.

Q2. What are the advantages of CryptoBlades to other alternatives in the Blockchain field?

Ans — The main competitors right now are Alien Worlds and RPlanet which both involve NFTs. Our main advantage is that we have the most active community in blockchain gaming (most transactions in BSC only behind PancakeSwap!) and our players earn up to 10x more per day in CryptoBlades vs RPlanet and Alien Worlds.

We are also in direct contact with Binance for listing after July 22nd when Most Valuable Builder is complete.

Q3. What are the major milestones CryptoBlades achieved so far & what are in the future pipeline?

Ans — We launched our token sale on April 11th, release our game on May 31st (exactly in line with our roadmap) and are releasing our Marketplace today, 2 weeks ahead of schedule! Our NFT marketplace will also pump SKILL price because other NFT creators can also sell their NFTs there for much less fees.

In the future we will be having more integrated 3D graphics for players to experience, public Raids, guilds, leaderboards, lands, and promotional NFTs with various bonuses and fun extras.

Q1. You point out that you have Sixteen associations, could you really tell us more about which are those associated projects? And really how have they helped to develop this game?

Ans — Chainlink, Binance Smart Chain (since they are now promoting us as in 1st place in Most Valuable Builder competition, Altura NFT, Oxbull.tech and ApeSwap are the biggest partners we are actively working with and who are promoting us on their platforms.

We even have a live QA with Chainlink on the 23rd.

Q2. Can we withdraw the earned NFTs from the CryptoBlade game and trade them on the MarketPlace of other platforms? Or can they only be traded directly in your game?

Ans — Yes. You can trade them to anyone, for anything. That’s the beauty of NFTs in gaming in our opinion, that once crafted they are YOURS to do with as you like! We even had a player on day 1 sell a sword for 4 BNB.

Q3. CryptoBlades recently announced a strategic alliance with Chainlink, the industry leading decentralized Oracle network. how an oracle network can influence a gamified blockchain network with integration of NFT? What does this alliance bring to the evolving CryptoBlades ecosystem?

Ans — This partnership is two-fold for us. 1, we are leveraging the marketing reach of Chainlink directly by having them promote our integration of their product, bringing us more users and SKILL into the game. 2nd. it creates a safe bot-free environment for our gamers so that everyone has a chance to play to earn. To date, we still have not encountered any bot able to abuse the game and we have plenty of safeholds ready to deploy in case we do.

We are the only bot-free game on BSC currently.

Q4. What specialized knowledge would be required to use the endless customization of CryptoBlade, what aspects of the platform are fully customizable?

Ans — The game has an in-depth stat system that rewards combinations of elements, enemy selection, sword selection, so that you can min-max your way to winning as many battles as possible. In addition, there are fun ways to make your character unique by purchasing characters minted with certain visual characteristics or even sought after IDs. The 40,001 sword (ID 40,000) was rewarded for being the first to hit the milestone.

Plus characters level up as you play them, and keep their level when you trade them so it becomes more valuable as you play.

Q5. What are the main benefits and advantages that your users will now be able to obtain on CryptoBlades thanks to the partnership that you have agreed a few days ago with the Altura NFT Project? How will this boost your platform?

Ans — This is an amazing opportunity to produce limited edition NFTs that can give various character boosts within the game such as experience bonus, stat bonus, stamina bonus, and more.

Q1. The goal of the DeFi is to create a new financial system that eliminates subjectivity, bias, and inefficiency by relying on programmable terms. Does CryptoBlade project support this vision and how does it participate in the DEFI space?

Ans — Absolutely. In fact it’s the reason much of our game is layer1. The NFTs will grow in value because they cannot be touched by any third party, and all bonuses and history are carried with them independent of us. We are true believers in decentralization and power to the players.

We are currently number 3 on transactions in all of BSC and are the fastest growing project on binance (top 2 are Pancake contracts) https://www.binance.org/en/leaderboard

This is due to our unique Play to Earn technology that rewards players first.

Q2. In your website You mention that Skill Tokens are necessary to create new characters and weapons but How much is the minimum necessary to create a character or a weapon and how accessible or cheap is it for users in general?

Ans — It costs roughly $15 in SKILL from ApeSwap (Buy Skill tab on our website cryptoblades.io) and you earn this back quickly, from days to weeks depending on your weapons (some even profit day 1).

Q3. I would like to know the incentives Cryptoblades has in place to help attract game players to it platform? Asides SKILL token, could fiat be used in purchasing weapons and other characters on the platform?

Ans — We are working on a Binance Listing after July 22nd which we imagine will bring in many new investors and players.

Q4. Your team is only carried by four people? Or are there more people anonymous? Do you have another game in mind or are you 100% dedicated to CryptoBlades? Have you worked together before? Are all team members trained in both game development and blockchain?

Ans — We are 4, and have a vast community of contributors as well. We believe in open source and are experts in building open source projects. To date, we have had an additional 15 contributors who are just lovers of the project! If you are an artist or dev and would like to get involved, we reward every feature that makes it into the game.

Q5. Who is the target for your project? Apart from Blockchain users, does your project have any plans for non-crypto users as well? If so, how can you attract them or what are your plans to attract them?

Ans — We are targeting the 2 million + crypto gamer community. We think that being able to earn 40+$ per day just playing the game is a huge lure for new players, and we hope all of you will come try it for yourselves.

Q6. I’ve played Alien World, it has good graphics but it’s not smooth enough to play maybe because of the heavy graphics. How will CryptoBlades balance the two? graphics and smoothness?

Ans — Currently the game is very fast. We want gameplay focused over graphics. And even with that, our players are thrilled with the graphics of CryptoBlades.

Q7. Does CryptoBlades seem to you to fall into the Pay-to-win category of games, or do you think everyone has a chance to win no matter how much they invest? Are you working to make it easier to buy the $SKILL token in the future? Can $SKILL be exchanged for real money?

Ans — Everyone can earn. There is no barrier preventing players from earning.

Q8. What is your most ambitious goal of your project? We would appreciate it if you could share with us any Upcoming Updates?

Ans — We are moving towards an open-world RPG similar to what you see in MMOs. This is for 2022 but we already have many of the scenes created, as well as the characters and swords and enemies. It’s just a matter of time.
