We recently hosted an AMA with FarmMe, on December 12th at 12 PM UTC. Many of you might have participated or many of not. But we make sure no one missed out from the knowledge shared by Tuan Le, CPO/Lead Game Developer at FarmMe So here we are up with the AMA transcript, for those who missed the live session, this blog post will be a saver & feeder of knowledge for them.

Q1. Could you please introduce FARM ME to our community in layman’s term?
Ans — Farm Me is a multiplayer-building game that runs on the Near Blockchain platform. It was created as a farming game with fight-for-survival elements to help you experience the appealing fantasy Metaverse.

Q2. What are the advantages of FARM ME to the other alternatives in the Blockchain field?
Ans — Well, Well, the Metaverse mentioned is inside of Farm Me & G- INFA. Farm Me is not only for its developing team to publish new games, its G-INFA structure is also open to everyone else to publish theirs.
Through G-INFA, different games can share resources, with different storylines and different missions in the same Universe, or together create new exciting games/minigames/events.
Q3. What are the major milestones FARM ME achieved so far & what are in the future pipeline?
Ans — We just ended the first Airdrop campaign with total 30,000 users and 460,000 entries and pre-alpha registration yesterday with highlight number as well. The GUILD Community contest is coming next week for you in Discord platform.
As I shared, game launching with alpha version on 15th Dec, and then release beta version at X’mast day :) before IDO plan ( the end of Dec).
What’s coming after that would be the official game launch with farming, battle version in Jan & Feb, 2022.

Q1. Players only need a VR headset to start the game, right? But, I assure you that not all gamers will have a VR headset to play with. Is it possible to play on a 2D plane? Is the game developed to be supported by all types of devices? Mobile devices, web or iOS?
Ans — Let me share a little bit about VR Technology we integrated in Farm Me. We did pre-build from the beginning for gamers at 3D graphics and fully developed storylines to experience virtual reality.
and the next year , very soon you all will have an amazing gameplay experience with only need a VR headset to start the game. If not, don’t worry, nothing will be affected in-game.
The second question, we planned to explore all devices included mobile with both of Android & iOs version, PC web.
Q2. In my opinion, what sets FarmMe apart from other games on the market under the influence of blockchains is its story mode. So can you tell us a bit about the history behind FarmMe? Where did you get inspired to create this wonderful and entertaining story?
Ans — We can start about the name “Farm Me” — Farm is farming and the key genre and Me is the short of Metaverse.
The storyline was inspired by popular traditional farm games such as Harvest Moon, Hayday… and the story “Alice’s adventures in wonderland” as well as the autobiography of the brave boy Christopher McCandless in “Into the Wild — John Krakauer”, Farm Me was created as a farming game with fight-for-survival elements to help you experience the appealing metaverse.
The camp moves into Metaverse, bringing an immersive experience to the NFT community and connecting both of GameFi gamers & traditional gamers.

Q3. Interestingly Farm Me is not only for its development team to publish new games, but its G-INFA structure is also open for everyone to publish their own. So how would this relationship take place between new developers and the existing ecosystem? Can we create minigames?
Ans — Beyond expanding the publisher’s game ecosystem Farm Me universe is ready to welcome and support other game NFTs to join in order to create a new island or new world which offers a wide range of limitless experiences to players to switch from this game to that one…
For example, in G-INFA ( Game Infrastructure ), you can be a farmer in one game but maybe a warrior in another or a monster driver in a racing game…
and easily switch from this to that …
and games can use each other’s resources, with different scenarios, different missions in the same universe… or together create attractive games/minigames/events for sure.
Q4. One of the differences between FarmMe and other gaming platforms that also involve blockchain technology is that FarmMe provides the opportunity to play for free. But what are the limitation of playing for free? What advantages and benefits do users who invest an initial ROI get?
Ans — Let me clarify about the value “ Free to Play” in Farm Me first
Free to play is the concept based on Hire & Work mechanism by Farm Me
To play a game, it’s required that you buy some essential game assets at least: a hero, a farm (land) …That can be thought of as an “entry fee” which be determined by markets however around from 100$/each per NFT. There are 4 types of NFT items included: Hero, Farm, Pet, Weapon for you to buy via NFT marketplace.
However, players or you guys don’t truly own these items as some essential assets to enter the game, correct?

You can rent NFT items from owners to entry based on sharing the benefit between players & owners to make a lower barrier
After that you can play and earn token by completing daily quests, ranking in leaderboard or get rare items by mining ores, hunting monsters to create a new NFT and sell back to NPC or Marketplace.
Q5. Farmers play the role of cultivating lands, crop farming, and breeding pets.There are different rarities of farmers with exclusive prices on the market,so could you tell us more about those different rarities of farmers?How many rarities do you have?
Ans — You are focusing on the rarity of NFT, especially Heroes — like Characters you know from others game
The rarity of NFTs in game identify the difficulty to discover or achieve. In Farm Me, there are 6 groups of NFTs’ Rarity for Heroes Farmer, Agent, Police, Soldier, Special Force, Super Hero. Each hero is traded on Marketplace by the game’s main token $FAME and has different shapes with different stats, so each Hero you own is unique and may have 0–2 passive skills, supporting players to perform in-game activities.

Q1. Players compete against one another to win $FAME tokens and other unique items. What are the utilities and estimated listing price of $FAME? What are the other unique items that players can win?
Ans —
As you know , we have total 2 tokens : FAME & ME . FAME Token is the fundamental factor in the game platform and it is the currency of the game used for transactions. You can earn $FAME through many ways such as: Staking, claim rewards, exchange NFTs item via marketplace. For governance & DAO, every FAME token holder will benefit from the growth of project and can propose idea, vote on $FAME important decisions…
Q2. I read that Farm Me offers a working platform where everyone can play and earn real money but can you explain how they plan to solve the main problem faced by blockchain gaming platforms that when they go live they have a strong start but as the months go by they start to fall?
Ans — Sure, the working platform we provides to solve the problem which others faced.
Job platform where the investors: invest and employ. You can directly list the jobs and make a profit and The game player: apply for jobs from the investors to make side income.

Q3. Community is the most important aspect of moving a project forward, so how is your relationship with the community? Do you have a global community?
Ans — As you see, GameFi projects as FARM ME always get strong support from communities. We need 2 sides: Players (both of GameFi & Traditional game) & investors.
We keep their interest in some different ways: play-to-earn & relax fundamental background for players and steady returns & growth for investors based on Business model & strategies.
Currently, we are cooperating with KOLs/Influencer and MOD in local communities to promote, follow up and explain detail as their concerns about Farm Me.
Q4. I read that there are 4 types of NFT items in the game: Hero, Farm, Pet and Weapon but can you explain what uses these items have in the game? Players can only participate in your game if they have these 4 items? If necessary, will it be relatively affordable to buy all 4 items?
Ans — Nope, to start playing a game, it’s required that you buy some essential game assets included: a hero, a farm (land) and also a pet, a weapon for supporting your performance. That can be thought of as an “entry fee”. Besides that, you can have a pet or a weapon to strengthen your performance as well.
Q5. Do you have a whitepaper? if yes please share it with us and secondly are you working to AUDIT your project, to make its security more secure and reliable??
Ans — Sure. We will publish via our website (Farmme.io) next week. About the storage asset on blockchain network & smart contracts, Farm Me has been audited by Certik is the leading security-focused ranking platform to analyze and monitor blockchain protocols and DeFi projects and will be done by the 3rd week of this month.
In addition, armme also provided all information and road map for integration, advertising, expansion and many many other aspects of the project and we are working on the legal partner from US to verify the FAME token is the utility one, not the security token, or violate any legal opinion.
