We recently hosted an AMA with GAMEE, on December 17th at 12.00 PM UTC. Many of you might have participated or many of not. But we make sure no one missed out from the knowledge shared by Yat Siu, Chairman at Animoca Brands & Bozena Rezab, CEO & Co-Founder at GAMEE , so here we are up with the AMA transcript, for those who missed the live session, this blog post will be a saver & feeder of knowledge for them.
INTRODUCTION —
Yat Siu, Chairman at Animoca Brands — My name is Yat Siu I am the Chairman and Co-Founder of Animoca Brands a company that was recently named one of the top 5 blockchain gaming companies. I personally have been in the tech, internet and gaming industry since the 80’s starting with Atari and then I set up one of Hong Kong’s first internet service providers in the 90’s, was part of the team that brought VRML to market with SGI and before going back into the gaming roots with Animoca Brands started a cloud email service business that was acquired by IBM in 2009 (Outblaze).
Our token projects other than GAMEE is $SAND $REVV and also $AXS two of them that listed on Binance in Q4 of this year.
Bozena Rezab, CEO & Co-Founder at GAMEE — Sure! Dear BlockTalks, my name is Bozena Rezab, I am co-founder and CEO of GAMEE. With a team of 20 people based out of Prague, we have built a global gaming community of 20M registered players. Our brand was selected among 100 Most Disruptive Brands by Marketing Week. This year, we joined Animoca Brands family. I am excited about building consumer tech and entertainment products, prior to GAMEE, I worked for Google on launching YouTube partnerships and monetization across European markets.

Q1. Could you please introduce Gamee to our community in layman’s term?
Ans — We have built GAMEE to connect people to through play. We focused on casual-style games, mostly for mobile phones, that are easy to learn and hard to master. This year, we have introduced the first rewarded play experiment on current free-to-play experience. We have added rewarded video ads to casual gaming experience and shared a percentage of revenue as rewards with top players. The response was overwhelmingly positive. We have seen a strong growth in both audience and revenue. Now we are looking how to take this play-to-earn concept to a next level, using blockchain.
Q2. What are the advantages of Gamee to other alternatives in the Blockchain field?
Ans — The main advantage of GAMEE is that it is not a new project that needs to prove its utility, with millions of players already playing games on GAMEE, a very active network of players on Apple, Google and Telegram (perhaps the defacto social home of many in the crypto community) it has a clear advantage to many blockchain projects that have a great idea but no actual product. Q3. What are the major milestones Gamee achieved so far & what are in the future pipeline?
Ans — Aside from the numbers — as shared above, GAMEE has been nomintated among TOP 100 Most disruptive brands by Marketing Week and several other achievements are notable, we were the first company to launch games on Telegram, among first global companies to launch integration on Facebook and other platforms. The next milestone is to look into exciting and onboarding at least part of our global community into blockchain.

Q1. As Gamee Tokens, will users be able to use other tokens from Animoca like SAND, LAND, REVV on the Gamee platform in the future? Will the concept of interoperability apply to these tokens on different Animoca platforms?
Ans — As part of the Animoca family tokens will have interoperability which is a key tenet of our thesis, essentially combining these different game worlds together, however each of them have distinct use cases and therefore need to be independent as well.
The great thing about blockchain and building on an open platform is that they can be interoperable and we definitely do that!
Q2. Regarding Game Parcel NFTs which was designed to enable third parties to launch their games on the GAMEE platform. Could you tell us the criteria an individual must meet to successfully launch his game on the platform? Also, how will the platform be governed? Will it be by the team or community or both?
Ans — The Parcel NFT’s which is in essence a form of land is a way to allow the community to launch their own games on a platform that can change the way you do DAPP discovery. If you look at the Gamee app today it looks a lot like the Appstore, and that is not an accident necessarily. As it has a lot of users you can easily solve for discovery that way.
However, because it is blockchain, it means that certain NFT’s can be owned (and rented) and standards and featuring of DAPPS will be governed by a DAO, i.e. if you hold the gamee token you have a vote.
In essence, democratizing DAPP discovery
Something which many in the game community feel is lacking because nobody truly knows why Apple or Google feature a product or decide to focus on one thing or another, here the community decides by owning the GAMEE token, one of the governance aspects of GAMEE.
Q3. Sometimes blockchain games have looked quite primitive in their design and it’s clear there is a long way to go to meet the current gaming standard. But it’s potential. What do you believe is needed in order for Gamee and blockchain gaming space to continue to advance and evolve?
Ans — So unlike other blockchain game platforms out there that may appear primitive and have a low number of users, GAMEE is different in that it has already proven popularity in its games in its casual gaming approach. It already has millions of users playing games on a regular basis, as such it is more about how to onboard GAMEE users onto the blockchain and we believe that the incentive model of wishing to get value out of their play time through the GAMEE token is going to create that wave of adoption.
It is a bit like a bank account
You won’t open a bank account just by yourself for no reason whatsoever but if you have a cheque to cash in.
You will open a bank account and do what it takes, we think the same will happen with users playing GAMEE who will onboard to blockchain. GAMEE today already gives prizes and rewards but via FIAT, turning that into blockchain will make it that much more fluid and widely adopted in our view.
Q4. What’s the main vision of creating stairs Master 3D in gamee platform? What does it offer his players?
Ans — The main purpose is to provide fun! Players feel challenged and enjoy competing with friends, comparing skills. I guess that is a human nature:) With this game specifically, we are testing 3D in html5 games and getting ready for a next generation of games for 2021.

Q1. The games that Gamee offers are for all audiences? Is your project easy and simple to use?
Ans — GAMEE is in the category of hyper casual games, this means that it is going to be easy to use for everyone and that is also what makes it so popular and welcoming
Q2. Staking and DeFi are very popular in cryptospace…
Do you have any plan to implement DeFi and staking program in the Ecosystem??
Ans — The short answer is yes, absolutely. Ownership of NFT’s which GAMEE supports means that you can have lending or rental products for the NFT’s. Ownership of parcels (which is an NFT LAND) can be supported with DeFi services because they are an income class and therefore a valued asset.
Q3. Do I need any Token or coin to start playing games and earning on the Gamee platform? Is there an app available for the platform or everything is just on the web?
Ans — There is an iOS app, an android app, a website and a telegram bot, you can play GAMEE everywhere!
Q4. What is difficulities and chances that You face right now while crypto/blockchain market is still young and need time to grow?
Ans — Being early in this space provides a great opportunity, to learn first & fast, become of the the leaders of the change.At the same time, the challenge is, compared to for example with classical mobile gaming, there you already have tools, sdks, vendors ready to do anything, simply, fast. This ecosystem is only emerging in blockchain, but the simplification will come with more adoption and more players in the filed.
Q5. I read that GAMEE is developing a non-fungible token (NFT) system, to be integrated with its games platform. Where can we buy GAMEE NFTs? How can we get them?
Ans — You will only be able to buy the first NFT’s via the GAMEE token and through playing GAMEE.
Q6. GAMEE is a community economy infrastructure with a large ecosystem and many pillar fields. There is an opinion that this is difficult to implement and makes the resources of the project dispersed. What do you think about this idea? Can GAMEE team put their caliber project into practice?
Ans — Many of the pillars are already in place and working, which is great. We are not starting from zero, but with active large gamer community, product and a portfolio of content. Now we are working on leveraging this and taking it to next level.
Q7. In what form do we get prizes for playing games at Gamee? Is it cash or tokens? where can we exchange this token? and can these tokens be staked?
Ans — Today GAMEE gives cash prizes (try it out even on the web at www.gamee.com) however the gamee token will be the next mechanism in which to earn and spend in the gamee ecosystem.
Q8. You organized a very useful AMA session and received lots of questions related to utilities and technology, visions of the future, …
So now I want to ask you what would you like to receive from the community
Ans — Feedback! Feedback is a gift, we always listen to ideas and comments from gamers. We have implemented many of them and with Gamee token and future governance, we will be able to take this next level.
Q9. Many investors hit and run in the sell and sell session after listing on the first exchange, How did $ GAMEE prevent early investors from selling their tokens and what benefits would $ GAMEE give them?
Ans — GAMEE is a true utility token because, on day one, it has a utility and it has an audience, which means that if investors decide to just sell people who play GAMEE are likely to buy it as they can actually use it. This provides for longer term stability, if the audience grows so should the demand and therefore the value of the token. We have seen this in $REVV for instance as well (it listed at 0.0666) and is now somewhere between 0.28 (approx. 4x) even when there was some selling earlier recovery was fairly swift and that is because $REVV has utility, with GAMEE we believe it will be the same once launched.
Q10. How do you see gaming platform potential in long run for Gamee project? Any chances for players to earn any money or revenue from Gamee?
Ans — Our players already earn, we share part of our revenue back with gamers already — see Gamee Prizes iOS, Android apps. With our token, we will take this to next level.
Q11. As community is the trump card for any project to succeed, how will you ensure that community gets its share in governance? Do we need to stake our tokens to get vote or we need to run nodes?
Ans — Yes, community is important and we are planning to involve it through governance, that will be connected with Gamee token ownership.
Q12. Trust is very important in business. So, what makes investors, customers, and users feel safe when working on your project? And how to gain the trust of many users who have negative thoughts about blockchain and DeFi?
Ans — Trust and blockchain go hand in hand, however outside of building on a transparent tech like blockchain, trust is also established by the reputation of the people working on the project. I invite you to look at the team involved at token.gamee.com and the advisors and companies involved. This is not an anonymous project, this is also an established gaming company with a history of delivering on blockchain assets.
Q13. Will gamee also have NFT like revv? what other hype factors is gamee coming out with?
Ans — Yes! Gamee NFTs will help their owner earn more rewards. Gamer will need to show a skill and then his/her NFT will turn it into a higher reward:)
Q14. At this point, do you think you need exchanges as a binance to keep growing? Or is it better to forget those things and focus on other activities? Marketing of GAMEE As we know that every project in crypto needs Adoption for growth So, what are the Future plans of GAMEE For Mass Adoption?
Ans — yYu need both, a strong product but also good liquidity. Two of our projects (AXS and SAND) are listed on Binance and it has worked very well. Growing with exchanges (both DEX and CEX) is also a form of customer acquisition so GAMEE will most definitely look to list on large exchanges as well. However, if you look at projects like $REVV you can also see that there can be growth via a DEX first approach and then followed by centralized exchanges.
Q15. Gamee is a platform just based in casino games or arcade games? Can you tell us how many games do you have right now?
Ans — There are over 80 arcade styles games, infact at the end of this AMA there will be a competition for you to try and play one of the games and you’ll see the type of arcade games at play with GAMEE!
Q16. What’s your plan for building an active and global GAMEE community? How can communities help you at this stage?
Ans —There is an active community around Gamee already, games are connecting people and we see people bringing friends and new people to Gamee all the time, large % of users are referred. That is one of the strongest elements we have.
Q17. Is it possible to Integrate GAMEE to my telegram group? What are the advantages for me? In future will GAMEE be available on Twitter and other social media platforms?
Ans — Absolutely, you will see this later, gamee can be invoked in any telegram channel simply by typing GAMEE
Q18. there are a lots of blockchain projects for gaming. So whats the unique feature of GAMEE over other blaockchain gaming platforms.
Ans — Hi Nikesh :-) GAMEE has already millions of users, it is an adoption play, its main advantage is that it already has loyal users playing to earn fiat prizes, we think blockchain will supercharge this. On top of that it has over 80 games on the platform as well and is on Web, Apple, and Google as well as Telegram.
Q19. What role does the community play in the #GAMEE? What have you done and will do to attract people to join #GAMEE and build a thriving community?
Ans — Key role. Games are connecting people and more fun, when played with friends, groups. Gamee is strong on referrals and shareability, we will continue building on that.
