Mateo Gold — I’m mathias co-founder of Constellation and Lattice. Together with Ben I’m spearheading exchange. Constellation is a base layer 1 protocol that provides an ecosystem for developers to build on. We are one of the largest decentralized mainnets in the crypto space (and are still a secret to many)
We are ushering in the third generation of Blockchain technologies centered around a new consensus algorithm and a mindblowingly different infrastructure logic — with tons of new applications and use cases. https://www.linkedin.com/in/mathias-goldmann-711a85110/

Introduction Questions Asked By Team BlockTalks

Q1. Could you please introduce Lattice Exchange to our community in layman’s term?

Ans — Lattice is the evolution of existing DeFi solutions by providing the best price and profitability for protocol users. It enables smart routing for trades and the ability to aggregate liquidity pools and incorporate multiple Automated Market Making (AMM) algorithms on Constellation’s scalable Network.

The unique thing about Lattice is that it is built on a groundbreakingly new infrastructure technology — The Constellation Hypergraph. The Hypergraph is a competitor to Polkadot and Ethereum. It features full horizontal scalability, near instant transactions and consistently near zero fees.

Q2. What are the advantages of Lattice Exchange to the other alternatives in the Blockchain field?

Ans — There is a massive opportunity to evolve AMMs. We saw this first hand over the weekend as we launched the LTX token. Advancing AMMs will provide additional transparency and programmatic accountability in the DeFi space. It is really want is making DeFi spectacular as crypto holders are looking for alternative tools and platforms to get involved in crypto projects. AMMs will ultimately protect retail token holders.

Our MVP will aggregate liquidity pools and introduce multiple AMM’s that are coin specific. Our MVP is scheduled to be released on the week of December 15th.

Q3. What are the major milestones Lattice Exchange achieved so far & what are in the future pipeline?

Ans —Our MVP (we internally call Phase 1) is to create a competitive project to 1Inch and Uniswap. Uniswap has a nice UI and user experience — we want to keep that trend going and make it rather easy for users to work with Lattice. Our MVP will aggregate liquidity pools and introduce multiple AMM’s that are coin specific. Our MVP is scheduled to be released before the end of the year and we already have a completely new engineering team building it out.

Our MVP is to establish ourself in the market with a product that people know how to use and understand. In Phase 2 — we will being introducing trade settlements on DAG. Because of DAG’s feeless structure we can incentivize volume trading by working with near zero transaction fees. This is going to be a huge leap in the DeFi and crypto space as we aim to provide cross chain liquidity between DAG and ETH — allowing DAG holders to stake DAG and earn LTX rewards.

Questions Asked on Twitter For Lattice Exchange Team!

Q1. Lattice team proposes Constellation Hypergraph Transport Protocol (HGTP), could you give us more information about HGTP? What technology is it?

Ans — The Constellation Hypergraph is a novel mainnet technology that features high throughput as well as economic and technological scalability. That means our infrastrcuture is meant to process high throughput and the throughput grows with the number of nodes on the network. We see it like a microsoft operating system. You have a powerful operating system as the foundation and now people want to see what you can do with such an operating system. So we are building lighthouse applications like Lattice to show what such an infrastructure can do. The same way Microsoft built excel, word and access as foundational pieces on top of their windows operating system.

Q2. How Lattice Exchange plans to utilize interoperability between ERC-20 Network and Constellation’s blockchain for success with Lattice Exchange?

Ans — Cross-chain liquidity means access to multiple chains at the same time and the ability to swap assets between two or more ecosystems. The Constellation Hypergraph is designed for cross-chain compatibiltity and therefore we are fulfiulling a vision many people have talked about in the industry for the last 2–3 years.

The biggest benefit for DAG holders is to supply their liquidity to cross-chain pools and be able to earn LTX tokens. That means the DAG community can be actively involved in the governance and growing the first lighthouse project on the DAG Hypergraph. This makes both DAG and LTX more interesting from an ecosystem and user perspective.

Q3. When talking about DeFi space, people think about specific terms such as lending, derivative, stablecoin, user’s credit score and smart contract-based asset management right away.Which specific DeFi product is $LTX offering or are you offering all of them?

Ans — We aim to introduce all of these services and features. It is rather complicated to do this, but we were able to assemble a rather incredible team to build out the platform to enable this. Because we will be using Constellation’s hypergraph, we will be able to oraclize data, thus allowing traders and developers to create complex derivatives and create competitive trading solutions.

Q4. What exactly is impermanent loss?
How does a liquidity provider encounter impermanent loss? What are the major factors that can influence the impermanent loss that a liquidity provider may experience?

Ans — Lattice will automatically route a transaction through the cheapest route by aggregating different liquditiy pools from the ERC20 ecosystem as well as our own Lattice pools. Whatever route has the lowest fees and slippage will be taken for the user automatically. Lattice is meant to improve the ROI and reduce risks for the users.

Q5. You’re currently running two projects simultaneously, Constellation and Lattice Exchange. Could it cause some difficulties for you considering that resources are limited? How will these projects supplement each other?

Ans — When you have incredible founders and a great team — you can move mountains. Lattice is a great way to show people the potential of our ecosystem and the features and functionalities of Constellation’s Hypergraph. Lattice is the financial arm of Constellation.

Think of it in an operating system sense like Microsoft. Microsoft had to build Word and Excel for people to understand how to use their operating system. Then people built entire businesses on Microsoft! Our goal is to evolve Constellation. All of our efforts help the entire ecosystem grow.

The projects have separate financing to ensure the success and goals of each of the companies. Our goal is to build them both in stride with completely separate development teams but each team has visibility into their roadmaps. Lattice is an application that is built on Constellation thus we are using Lattice to help develop the Constellation state channel product.

Questions Asked by our BlockTalks Community Members during live Session to Lattice Exchange Team!!

Q1. Seems many projects are offering layer 2 scalable solutions e.g. MATIC. So how is Lattice different from the others? What competitive advantage do you have? What layer 2 solutions are you targeting first?

Ans — One of the main advantages is that the co-founders of Lattice (Layer 2) are also the co-founders of a Layer 1. We have complete visibility into the technical roadmap as well as a strong understanding of the technology features and functionality.

Q2. Lattice has educational resources suitable for people who want to invest in their project and do not know about finances?

Ans — Lattice is not an investment. We are building an ecosystem that is governed by a community. LTX is an LP token. If you are new to this industry I would recommend to look elsewhere first and learn to understand how defi works. Than our value proposition of AMMs and cross-chain liqudity will make more sense.

Q3. Nowadays, everyone is interested in their own benefits from many different projects but they rarely care about the benefits of the project for the user. So what benefits does the project bring to users? What are the plans for reaching new investors and new users in other countries?

Ans — Beyond providing smarter routing and multiple AMM’s and using the DAG network for cross-chain compatbility and an alterntive ecosystem to provide liquidity (which is a lot), we are aiming to bring community engagement into the DeFi space. A lot of people use Uniswap to discover new projects and they use it because of the DEX tools. We want communities to be built around Lattice to discover new projects and have access to tools to help people evaluate projects (something that CEXs don’t really provide — FULL TRANSPARENCY)

Q4. During periods of high volatility, AMMs present risk-benefit failures, how does Lattice Exchange reduce the risk of these operations?

Ans — Through Constellation’s Hypergraph — Base Layer 1 technology that is a scalable blockchain protocol.

Q5. LTX will give users access to governance of the Lattice Exchange. On what matters can users comment and vote?

Ans — Lattice users will be able to vote on governance proposals. These proposals could have economic or infrastructure relevance meaning the metrics that make things work could be changed or re-arranged.

Q6. Seeing that Lattice already have several strong partners, how does your team take into consideration all of the their contribution when it comes to developing further your goal? Cause definitely there will be issues that will arise towards each partnership that you have right now

Ans — We work closely with all of our partnerships. Each have their own specific skills and industry knowledge.

Q7. Can you briefly describe what is Lattice in 3–5 sentences? And what is your Mission and Vision?

Ans — Lattice is the evolution of existing DeFi solutions by providing the best price and profitability for protocol users. It enables smart routing for trades and the ability to aggregate liquidity pools and incorporate multiple Automated Market Making (AMM) algorithms on Constellation’s scalable Network.

Q8. What tools do you offer to developers who want to create customizable data validation and microservices on Constellation?

Ans — At Constellation, we will be introducing state channels which will allow anyone to “list” a data feed or source on our Hypergraph. They will be able to monetize this channel and developers will be able to merge multiple state channels/micro-services to create unique insights and applications that can be used for competitive trading on Lattice.
