We recently hosted an AMA with MetaStrike, on December 5th at 1 PM UTC. Many of you might have participated or many of not. But we make sure no one missed out from the knowledge shared by Thang Do, Marketing Lead at MetaStrike So here we are up with the AMA transcript, for those who missed the live session, this blog post will be a saver & feeder of knowledge for them.

Q1. Could you please introduce Metastrike to our community in layman’s term?

Ans — Metastrike is an FPS Multiplayer Blockchain Game project integrated with VR and is a product of Metaverse that includes many essential and advanced features of a shooting game

Metastrike is a blockchain-based role-play FPS with a collection of weapons for players to equip, upgrade level to complete the mission, and earn NFTs & tokens

Q2. What are the advantages of Metastrike to the other alternatives in the Blockchain field?

Ans — The first advantage is that our team comes from a game development team

we are also a blockchain game team with a diverse wealth of knowledge and many years of experience in making games with titles and clients like previous experience at Ubisoft working on Hungry Dragon and Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XV, etc

We realized the weakness of traditional games is that there is a lack of profits for players and the ability to own items is underprivileged. As for current blockchain games like Decentraland, and Axie Infinity, the initial fee to buy pets and the game element are some of the current weaknesses of Blockchain games

A lot of games are just clones of each other or duplicate gameplay due to inexperienced products in making gameplay design (which is our strength :D)

So Metastrike addresses the weaknesses of both traditional and current blockchain games

Q3. What are the major milestones Metastrike achieved so far & what are in the future pipeline?

Ans —First, we’ve got very strong support from our communities. Currently we have more than 70k followers across platforms. There will be a lot of people joining Metastrike to try our product in the future

Furthermore, we have received backup from very good ventures who can expand our business to their partners as well as the Marketing plans such as GD10, Exnet & Master Ventures, etc

The biggest milestone of our product will be the Alpha version has been in development for a year and is ready to release in Q4/2021

On this December, we are excited to announce that, our token $MTS will be IDO at, Ignition Paid, and RoseonPad

In the short future, we will integrate and the Metastrike NFT marketplace. This will help our game enter the vast world of Metaverse, where anything can be created and traded right in front of the user’s eyes

Q1. One of the main points that caught my attention about MetaStrike is that they want to develop their metaverse but I didn’t find much information about the features we could find in this metaverse. So, can you give details of the vision and mission they have for their metaverse?

Ans — First, we must understand the Metaverse as the concept of space or the digital universe. This concept has been around for a long time and all development is focusing on it. Metaverse doesn’t need to have a bridge or a product to be a Metaverse product, but rather its direction

We, as a team has experience in web3.0 development, understand what it takes to develop products in a Metaverse

That’s why the development team has put tools for users to access and connect to Metaverse in the future

Also, Metastrike is not just a gamefi developed on Blockchain with play to earn mechanism, our team also provides an integrated experience with VR, which can be of great help moving forward to virtual reality environment of Metaverse

Regarding to the ability of Build-to earn

This is a highly anticipated mechanism, this is one of the very interesting ideas in the game-making process

Each player has their own creations. We want to promote that, so we have integrated the ability to build and craft maps for players to enjoy creating gameplay, players can also fully own these land/maps as their own property and sell them for sale, or even organize their own tournaments

Q2. Reading on your website it struck me that players have the power to design their own customizable maps. So, can you explain why you developed this type of map for your players? What features can these maps have? Up to what level can players design these maps?

Ans — Gameplay build to earn will be understood as a crafting map mechanism. We originally planned to let users own the full ability to build and develop gameplay for metastrike build to earn depending on their preferences.

However, this will lead to some difficulties for newcomers to the game, it can make it difficult for players to develop their own world. That made us decide to bring a simple build mechanism first, and then more detailed and in-depth updates. With lite mode. Players can have models, houses, trees, .. sample contexts that have been designed by us to be used.

With professional mode. Players can tweak, interfere more deeply with good architecture, damage ability, or even create their own gun with their own creativity Of course the following updates will be released gradually. gradual and subject to user feedback and we will always take that into account.

Q3. I’ve watched your gameplay trailer and realized that playing Metastrike might require a high-end and high specs PC to play. Can you please explain to us the minimum system requirement to enjoy and play your game?

Ans — So Metastrike is a triple AAA game produced by a well-known game studio that has experience working with Ubisoft on Hungry Dragon and Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XV, etc.

Therefore, our gameplay is polished smoothly because of the use of UnrealEngine graphics technology and completely meets the needs of gamers with high graphics systems

However, we have not forgotten about low cases, so all versions have fine-tuning mechanisms to suit weak systems, players can freely choose. We are confident that we can optimize the configuration to the lowest level so that even the lowest systems can be used.

Q4. I read that players can team up to fight against another team and steal their NFTs. So, is this stealing that occurs only during the game period or is it permanent after a game? If it is permanent, couldn’t it drive away less experienced players for fear of losing everything?

Ans — At first, i want to make it clear that you are probably talking about the NFT collateral mechanism in a match. When a PVP game is conducted, to increase the attractiveness or the player can choose and mortgage NFT items, be it a gun or a knife, the winner will receive the NFT item

But there is also a game mode call Steal Lands

If you have ever played games like Clash of Clan or Meta Gear Solid. Surely you will not be surprised with this mode mechanism.

Players will have to build fortresses and place NPCs to protect their items in the game, if you are defeated by other players, they may have a treasury that only your land has. You can choose to not participate in this mode if you want, but if you want to own NFT items that other players have been defeated by your fortress, do not hesitate to give it a try.

Q5. I noticed that Metastrike illustrations are very similar to Call of Duty Mobile. So could you tell us what differences you have compared to this and even other FPS games besides being Blockchain and P2E based? Did you get inspired by COD? If yes, why did you do it?

Ans — It is true that we were inspired by COD, the reason we used it as a title for gamefi and P2E platforms is because we see current gamefi projects with gameplay mechanics that don’t bring much entertainment value for players

they are too focused on making profit

We wanted to bring an action game into this industry and develop it for the long term users with a long term experience and still make a profit

And FPS games such as COD or CSGO are such a good gameplay which enable room for combining entertainment & P2E

Regarding the differences, as mentioned above, compared to normal FPS games, Metastrike has the following special characteristics:

- VR compatible

- Play-to-earn

- Build-to-earn

- NFT marketplace

Q1. Do your team has any burning program to keep token from inflation and incentive program to attract more players?

Ans — Yeah. As you may know we have an in-game token called $MTT. It is our main play-to-earn reward token so it’s supply is uncapped. However, users have to use $MTT for many activities in game (such as unlocking new maps, participating in some game modes/ events, purchasing regular consumable items, upgrading weapons…). And anytime $MTT is used, it will be burnt forever. Only 10% will be pulled into weekly prize pool to reward gamers. Applealing prize is also our mechanism to maintain healthy community of Metastrike gamers & to atrract more new users

Q2. Metastrike’s game concept consist of three principal modes: Zombie mode, Team mode and Deathmatch mode. Can you describe the characteristics of each one? Metastrike offers Free-to-play and Play-to-earn features. But in order to earn, is it necessary to invest first? Can users test the platform first before buying any NFT?

Ans — Zombie mode: where you fight zombies waves and shoot each one for points, this kind of points will bring to players rewards as much as they had performed

Team mode: places where you can play with your friends, bet your NFT weapons. Winners take all, will be a fun places to participate in

Deatchmatch: Solo players with high performance will like it. Due to gameplay mechanism will make you a serious gunner. players who ever got highest score buy defeat others will have all the rewards

All of this mode will free to play. And users if want to earn more rewards, they can open a mystery box.

Q3. They announced on December 17 their IDOs on the RoseonPAD, Seedify and Roseon Finance platforms. So, how can the community participate in these events? What requirements do they have to have in order to be considered for any of these platforms? Why did they select these platforms?

Ans — Yes that is correct.

Q4. Can you talk about the MetaStrike management method, do Token holders have a say in MetaStrike management? Are you a DAO platform, and if so, what token will I need to own $MTS or $MTT to have a say in management?

Ans — If you want to have governances to control the game or vote, you have to hold MTS

MTS is a BEP-20 governance token for the Metastrike world. MTS holders will be able to claim rewards if they stake their tokens, play the game, and participate in key governance votes (to edit rewards as well as game mechanics. Eventually, MTS will be distributed for tournaments in the Metastrike universe (can be made by us or by users themselves in guild mode).

Q5. What is the utility of token ? What are the planning to increase the value of token gradually ? Not by pump and dump ? As I see the roadmap is preety long, waht are the planning of team for token golfers apart from listing to add the value of token?

The value of our token go with the growth of Metastrike itself because our tokens have many use cases. We have developed Metastrike for 1 year and alpha version is ready to be released. And as you may know, our roadmap is beta version will be released in 2022. We have plan to acquire users in many market, focusing in FPS-game lovers (which is huge as FPS always in top tier of game industry). So as Metastrike has a lot of room for growth, you can believe in our tokens as well
