We recently hosted an AMA with Orbitau, on February 15th at 1 PM UTC. Many of you might have participated or many of not. But we make sure no one missed out from the knowledge shared by Luu Trong An Ha (Harvey), Head of Strategy & Planning at Orbitau. So here we are up with the AMA transcript, for those who missed the live session, this blog post will be a saver & feeder of knowledge for them.

Q1. Could you please introduce Orbitau to our community in layman’s term?
Ans — Orbitau — Seven Deadly Sins is a turn-based idle combat/socializing game suitable for everyone to play. It’s a fantasy game inspired by Norse Mythology and the Seven Deadly Sins, and provides players with new experiences based on well-known legends.
In Orbitau, players will directly participate in the Demon — God war with the familiar role-playing and turn-based strategy gameplay in a magical land of mixed reality and fiction created by blockchain technology. And the rewards are materially valuable, not just symbolic victories.
In order to build a long-term ecosystem, we believe it’s vital to build our user base from the start, that’s why we started with gamefi.
Imagine our vision: every day after work, everyone can play our games, whether at the train or at home, and be fully entertained. The best part is that our game will not hinder your normal life.
This is our plan, we will make our games available to non-crypto users as well, it is one of our core goals and missions.
Q2. What are the advantages of Orbitau to the other alternatives in the Blockchain field?
Ans. —First, we have built a great team for this project, seasoned back-end and blockchain engineers building proven complex platforms before as well as some of the best economists in the industry from beGroup, Uber, Cake working on our economic models for the game.
Second, our team also have a lot of experiences in developing traditional online games in all genres such as: Moba, turn base, MMORPG… and in our opinion, we feel the current gamefi are focusing on the “earn” part more than the “play” part, this can be one of the reasons for the failure of some recent games.
That’s why we develop 100% gameplay ourselves based on our experience and learn from the best of previous projects, we focus on the player’s experience in both “play” and “earn”.
Third, we’ve seen so many projects where the founders focused more on fundraising and struggled forming the team to actually execute the project. For us, we formed the team early, almost 9 months ago, and worked on the proof-of-concept, tested out the technology and only once we had completed the basic foundation for a DeFi system, the backend for our game framework, we then moved on to the fundraising phase, and introduced ourselves to the communities. Within only a few weeks, we were able to raise over $3M in funding.
And lastly, with this enormous speed of growing in this space, we believe maintaining a fair and efficient economy within the games is the key to a long-term sustainable project. That’s why our experienced team of economists have been constantly working on defining the best economy, to create a healthy ecosystem for our investors, players and communities.
Q3. What are the major milestones Orbitau achieved so far & what are in the future pipeline?
Ans — Previously we have achieved:
1. Formed our tech team and completed the back-end for a basic DeFi system, a testnet for our game, within 4 months
2. Started with fundraising,ưelcomed, AU21, X21, NGC, LD, etc. as our early backers, and for only 3 weeks, we have raised almost $3M
3. Revamped our graphics, visuals, started our MKT and community, reaching 100K+ members within a week
And our next steps are:
Getting shaped on our game, firming our economic model are the top priorities on our roadmap. More interesting gameplays, more earning/burning models and many more Defi services are coming in the next 2 years.
We currently focus on making sure the game is developed properly and released with the most fairness to our players. We have developed the back-end system and game framework since the mid-2021, so almost 6 months now, with the aim to go until we complete the DeFi ecosystem.

Q1. I understand that “Orbitau -Seven Deadly Sins” is a Fantasy Game created by blockchain technology. However, most blockchain games It usually lacks gameplay, good graphics and storytelling. What kind of gaming experience will Orbitau bring to us?
Ans —Players can experience our PVE mode which helps them to discover the game story based on Norse Mythology and the Seven Deadly Sins; PVP mode in which players can join the tournament battling against other players to earn tokens.. Plus, we have various gameplay modes such as: Dungeon Co-op, Arena, Tower training, daily & weekly quest… Each of these will help players enjoy our unique gameplay and earn tokens as well.
Another outstanding feature of Orbitau compared to competitors is that it is packed within the governance’s system. Orbitau planet is a kingdom, and is ruled under an Emperor. The kingdom is divided into regions. Region’s leader is Lord. Each region will be divided into districts. District leader is Commander. A character once created will be allocated to a place with coordinator (x, y) and is managed by a district’s leader.

Q2. Generating revenue is one of the main factors that make P2E games attractive. And nowadays this reality must be changed by games that are sustainable and entertaining, so how will Orbitau manage to create a game that attracts attention and generates revenue in a sustainable way?
Ans — First of all, we have set aside lots of revenue streams, including:
Egg NFT purchase
Breeding fee
Upgrading fee
Energy purchase
Marketplace transaction fee
Betting
Jackpot
Other assets: gem, land, decoration items
And as you can easily see, none of these channels are separate from our players. Working from the players and our users perspective, we will achieve a long term, sustainable way of business and entertainment.
Q3. As a mere investor not a game enthusiast Will I be able to earn profits but not playing your game? What’s motivation and benefit for traders & investors to hold $TAUM token in a long-term investment?
Ans — The $TAUM acts as the governance tokens for Orbitau and other games we will introduce in the future, to create a connected ecosystem (metaverse) for our players in each of the games, we will also have an in-game token called ORI, but different to the older and inefficient model of dual-token game, our in-game token will not be listed on the market to ensure the balance of economy for our games.

Q4. I saw on your website’s roadmap that Orbitau will be considering sidechain integrations in the near future. Have you already chosen the blockchains/networks you will integrate you project with? Could you name a few?
Ans — We have considered FTM as well as Avalanche. Our blockchain team has great experiences with multichain thus we will definitely work toward this goal.
Q5. How can I participate in Clan development activities, such as building clan facilities, hunting bosses, conquering territories, and earning from taxes? At what professional level should I be in the game or what requirements should I meet?
Ans — There are alot of different way for Clan development, and I think its best for you to experience it yourself so I won’t give away too much information. However I can sneak peak to you about our lord system such as below:
- All leader roles are occupied by NPC.
- All transactions within a district must pay taxes
- Tax fee is set to 2% by default and collected by the district’s leader/Commander.
- Every weekend, there will be a tournament to select the strongest players (Hero).
- Heroes can challenge the current Commander to replace him. The final winner will be appointed Commander for the whole week after and will be able to set the new tax fee (not greater than 5%).
- All collected tax will go to: 60% to the Commander’s pocket, 25% to the managing Lord and 15% to the King.
- Commander can challenge his managing Lord, once in 2 weeks
- Lord can challenge the King, once in 4 weeks

Q1. In the ORBITAU Ecosystem You have Launched the Two Token System :
1. $TAUM TOKEN
2. $ORI TOKEN
Can You please Explain Me these Dual Token System and Why You Selected 2 Tokens and What are their Multiple Utilities ?
Ans — TAUM is our governance token for all the games in our ecosystem. The token is utilized throughout to purchase products and services in the ecosystem as well as the Orbitau NFT marketplace. TAUM holders will have the voting right on the Taureum-related projects.
ORI is our utility token for the Obirtau universe, players can earn ORI and spend ORI in our in game activities. ORI can be exchanged for TAUM at predetermined rate.
Q2. Can players do Staking to get attractive prizes? besides staking, can trading in your market, upgrade heroes, spare parts can also get attractive prizes?
Ans — 100% yes! we have great programs that would reward you greatly for not just staking, but across multiple activites throughout your journey at Orbitau.
Q3. How expensive is to play Orbitau? Can small investors afford and be able to play and earn Otbitau? Is your game small investor friendly?
Ans — yes we are open for everyone. We will also going to collaborate with various game guilds to help bridge the gap should price entry barriers are up.
Q4. Could you mention some highlights of the team behind Orbitau? What in your background and experience has nurtured the platform to ensure its vision and future development? Knowing this is important to gain the trust of investors.
Ans — I want to introduce our CEO and founder of Taureum, Mr. Matt (Minh). Matt has more than 15 years of experience in FinTech, working at banks and multinational companies such as Goldman Sachs, Citibank, Harvey Nash, OpenTV, and most recently PayPal, contributing to building PayPal Singapore from 1 regional representative office with only 50–60 employees, becoming the headquarters for the APAC region with more than 500 people including software engineers and business, finance, risk staff.
Mr. Matt has co-founded and built 2 big projects so far, the first is an EduTech platform for ILA, the largest education company in Vietnam, this platform serves more than 2M students. The second project is beGroup with the role of co-founder and CTO, ranked second in terms of market share of technology vehicles, with nearly 10M users. In the past year, beGroup also launched Cake digital bank, and after 8 months has become the fastest growing digital bank in the region with over 1M customers.
Nguyen (Jerry) has more than 12 years of experience in game development at CMN, from the position of MKT to CEO, is a leading game company in Vietnam, CMD has released more than 40 games within 10 years. via. Jerry is the CMO of Orbitau.
Duy (Brian) is in charge of finance, Duy has an Honor degree in Finance & Economics from York University, always ranks in the top prestigious schools in Canada, after a number of years working in Canada in the field of investment. Duy returned to Vietnam and has 11 years of experience working in big banks like Techcombank and Shinhan, Duy himself is very knowledgeable about the crypto market as well as NFT games.
