We recently hosted an AMA with Privi, on June 7th at 5.00 PM UTC. Many of you might have participated or many of not. But we make sure no one missed out from the knowledge shared by Zach Badger, Co-Founder of Privi. So here we are up with the AMA transcript, for those who missed the live session, this blog post will be a saver & feeder of knowledge for them.

Q1. Could you please introduce Privi to our community in layman’s term?

Ans — Privi rethinks how digital communities, and transactions, occur. It is all of us reclaiming our space online, which has been robbed by Web2. This is about the creator, the community, the individual. In rethinking how digital life, and value, should change hands.

With privi we constructively connect listeners and musicians, viewers and video producers, readers and writers, influencers and followers, communities to communities, peers to peers, in a way that makes sense. In a way that completely obliterates the BS middlemen that have been around in our society for far too long. Consumers consume for free, and earn with their favorite creators, and creators earn unlike ever before, and create an entirely new relationship with thier fans.

You see. NFTs, DAOs, social tokens, defi, all of that is just buzz words. What we are doing, we are taking all these technologies, and stitching them together in a way where the user has no idea blockchain is even there.

Q2. What are the advantages of Privi to other alternatives in the Blockchain field?

Ans — The platform soft launches to creators and their communities next month.
Full platform/mainnet will be shortly thereafter.
This is bleeding edge blockchain tech, which others struggle to keep up with.
But the main difference as I alluded to is that we are not some project with a whitepaper and a pitch deck. We are different. We make product announcements not partnership announcements. We build first and raise later. We build faster than everyone else, we iterate rapidly, and we like to think we know what the mainstream user wants in blockchain. So we dont just beat others from a technical perspective, we beat others in speed to market.

Q3. What are the major milestones Privi achieved so far & what are in the future pipeline?

Ans — Our entire platform is finished, but we will be launching it in stages over the course of this Spring/Summer. We also have exciting mobile apps that we will be announcing. That will also come out this year. These mobile apps are much better than simple wallets. These are apps that have similar functionality to Spotify, YouTube and Instagram.

But what we are most amped about is our 3D worlds, which are linked to every profile and DAO.

Imagine listening, watching, meeting people, going to events, all in the metaverse.

Q1. I could see that they are not a project with a technical document and a presentation platform, they are very different on that side. They make product announcements and not association announcements. May I know the reason why you are somewhat reserved in that regard?

Ans — Partnership announcements so often are just ways to keep the community excited and engaged, which serves value.

But the way Privi operates, we are so fast building, and developing our products. We have such a powerful end to end platform. We don’t see much value in partnerships, which serve as logo porn in some cases.

The partnership announcements I want my community to see is Gucci, Justin Beiber, Mr Beast, Uber.... stuff like that. Stuff that brings real value to users of the network.

Q2. Creaters can work with music, photography, videos, tutorials,own social tokens & NFTs in Privi platform. So how they mint their own tokens or NFTs ? What are the benifits from creating content in Privi network for creators? Can $PRIVI be earn as a creator?

Ans — If you mint NFTs and social tokens on Ethereum they are very expensive. This does not make economic sense for most.

We provide anyone the tools to mint social tokens and NFTs for next to nothing.

You can bring in outside tokens (ERC-20, for example), if you already have social tokens or NFTs minted.

We have minimal transaction costs as well.

All you really need to know is that we provide creators, communities, and individuals with an economically sound solution, a solution that is beautiful and user friendly, and is packed end to end with apps and features.

Q3. They mention that most of the Web2 models will become obsolete when Privi crashes into the scene. I understand that web2 is currently becoming somewhat obsolete, but why could Privi have an even greater impact on this website and even reach ranks like Spotify?

Ans — Spotify gives the artist something like $0.004 per stream. Musicians with Privi earn at least $0.012 per stream, which is 3x more. Plus, listeners listen for free, and even earn with their favorite artists. We provide smooth and simple products. Combine all that and yea Spotify will be obsolete

Q4. We are living in the advent of Yield Farming and Liqiudity Mining. What’s your personal opinion on Yield Farming?

Ans — I could walk out on the street, right now, and ask 100 people, 1,000 people, what yield farming is...odds are very high that 100% would have no clue.

I could ask the same people…do you listen to music? Do you watch videos? Do you reach articles? Are you apart of online communities?

Odds are 100% of the them would say yes to that.

And I would tell the Privi makes it better, more fair, and that you could earn while you do all that stuff.

The goal here is to make blockchain everywhere but invisible.

Q5. Can Privi create self-governing communities, with metric labels and fully customizable to interact with the community more easily?

Ans — Yes. Anyone can create a custom DAO. Mint a social token with it. These DAOs are packed with features, and in the near future, we will have it so every DAO can connect with freelance devs to build their own tools (for example, an intricately built AMA tool).... the DAO drags and drops the no code features into their DAO... and they can even license that feature to other DAOs to earn.

Q1. Is the $PRIVI token already listed on an exchange or DEX, CEX and how do you get your $PRIVI token and where i can buy, Can I give $PRIVI token smart contract?

Ans — We are not listed yet. We will however do it very soon, so please follow us so you know exactly when you can get involved and own a piece of the future.

Q2. Why is it necessary to request an invitation to be part of privi? Is it limited only to users who meet certain conditions?

Ans — We are getting flooded with interest. Not just from crypto traders but from all sorts of creators. At the beginning we will be doing a controlled launch, requesting an invite helps us scale up the product to get to escape velocity in a healthy way.

Q3. What strategies will you use to stitch NFTs, DAO and all other together in one place?

Ans — It’s all about UI/UX. Deducing the user flow and user experience to its most simplest parts.

Q4. It could be said that one of the current competitors that Privi presents within the market is BitClout. Do you really consider yourself a competition for this platform? What are the characteristics that could differentiate Privi from BitClout according to their social networks?

Ans — So as I see it BitClout is looking to take over Twitter
We are not
We are looking to reimagine and redefine how content is consumed, how we connect with each other, and how we gather together
Most if not all social media models in Web2 will be obsolete when Privi enters the scene.
Daniel Ek, Spotify CEO just contemplated buying Arsenal for a billion plus dollars.

Which is a good thing
Because he is going to need every penny when we wipe Spotify off the map
YouTube gives nothing to their creators

And what does the user get when they engage ? Nothing.. why not earn when you listen? Earn when you watch?

Q5. There are more platforms coming nowdays like video streaming and specifically NFT, why should a user choose $PRIVI over them?

Ans — Because you can do it for little transaction cost. You can do it with our DeFi tools attached. You can create custom DAOs, prefund content, access the 3D worlds... all other NFT and streaming projecst are "one trick ponies"…we are an entire network.

Q6. What kind of content creators can be part of Privi? Musicians, artists, athletes? How many categories do you have?

Ans — Music (audio), video, articles and art, to start.

Q7. How can a creator earn money by monetizing their content? What mechanisms exist for this? Through ads or advertising? Please explain us a little more.

Ans — You can price your content fixed, for example .01 USDT to watch... or you can price it by the second... for example .00001 USDT per second streamed... this means that people only pay for what they consume ... but again, we made it so users dont pay for media (you’ll see how!) while the creator still gets paid.
